The cost calculator is not binding. It is intended to merely support parties to proceedings pending at the German Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The estimated total costs of a DIS sport arbitration can be calculated with the cost calculator. The total costs are calculated on the basis of the schedule of costs annexed to the 2016 DIS Sport Arbitration Rules, effective 1 April 2016.
In anti-doping disputes, the fees of the arbitrators are lump sums. The lump sum fee of a sole arbitrator amounts to 1.000 €. In case of a three-member tribunal, the lump sum fee is 1.600 € for the president of the arbitral tribunal and 600 € for each of the co-arbitrators. The DIS Administrative Fees in anti-doping proceedings are fixed at a lump sum of 400 €.
The arbitrators' expenses are reimbursed according to the DIS Guideline on the Reimbursement of Arbitrators’ Expenses (in German) in effect at the commencement of the arbitration.
